Bye Roger - January 25, 2013

Mon ami Roger est décédé ce matin. C'est triste il laisse derrière lui une femme, des enfants, des petits enfants et des amis partout au Canada. Je ne l'oublirai pas, il m'aura marqué par son sens de l'humour bien à lui et sa personnalité attachante.

I am a little tired but feeling so much better... it must have to do with the cold temperature we have endured lately. Tomorrow I am heading to Pang... It will be fun to see some good friends but also demanding working in the cold cold outside. If the weather is with me, will bring back some nice photos.

Saturday 1920s - January 19, 2013

Well this blog sucks lately I cannot upload photos and it aggrrrr me. I had it mainly to rant and have a place to show some photos... now it is getting to be useless... I will have to use the feedback button and see.
So today I am supposed to shoot some photos 1920s style... will keep it simple with minimum backdrops and lights... let see how it goes.

Shooting outside the box... at times it is much easier to find models if you shoot outside the box... but it will never be as great, so I think I will remain inside the box...lol

Got a real busy Monday... but I manage to do a lot more that I was expecting to do.  I received an unexpected news... I will get an award for some reason, I was very surprised and a little proud so I shared the news with a couple friends... and my lovely Poupette.

Friday I love Friday - January 11, 2013

Today, I worked on some long overdue projects... I did not manage to complete any of them...lol... Always one piece missing, so I was expecting to put of few of my large ticket items for sale... not yet, I will have to check on ebay... for a changer for a Pepsi machine, for a bar for my old car jack, for a buyer for my tires, H-D sign.... I design a piece of diamond plate I need to get.... but it is just a piece of paper... I took the camera out to shoot Northern lights... there was none... It was a Friday and I love Fridays...

Sun, cold, boost - January 10, 2013

A quiet day of January... It was cold to boost a truck... and the dishwasher is broken... need a new one, tomorrow....lol. Got a Christmas card today from a friend and his family... photo is great it could be the cover of a music CD.

Ouch - January 09, 2013

Such a messed up system... This morning I had a Doctor's appointment at 09:40... I showed up at 09:20, I got registered and went to wait until 10:10 when I was old the doctor was double booked and I was one of the patients who would not be seen. The worst they could not re-schedule me until a few weeks... I was a little mad so they booked me this afternoon at the RAC (Rapid access Clinic)... basically you have 10 minutes to make your case and will not get any type of medication and doctors don't do diagnostic. I am not sure what they actually do... but I had bad experience in the past, so as a few friends. Anyhow I was taken in at 03:00 by the nurse to check my pressure and temperature, of course it was high, I was boiling about the nurse telling me doctor would not do much. Doctor was good, even great. He took the time to check on me, and offer solution and explain pros and cons... and what to do if it goes not good from now on. I was happy, there are still people care in this so messed up system.

OMG - January 08, 2013

 Ce soir, je suis bénévole pour une organisation visant à écouter des gens en dificulté... et l'autre volontaire écoute les maudites nouvelles depuis le depuis de mon shift... OMG, moi qui n'écoute jamais les nouvelles.. vous pensez que ca me tanne... ca me tape OMG ca me tape tellement... il ne se rend même pas compte que ce sont les mêmes nouvelles qui reprennent à chaque heure... OMG... je veux lui faire avaler la manette... OMG que je deviens éritable...mon seul sourire...encore une heure et j'irai me coucher dans mon lit... que j'ai hâte....

Déjà la première semaine de la nouvelle année est derrière nous. Il me semble que déjà je vais manquer de temps pour tous les projets que j'ai en tête.

Chercher l'erreur - January 06, 2013

Yesterday I took my camera to go shoot some kind of snow castle... I forgot a memory card... yep the new camera that I have, it can contain 2 types of cards and I had none... so I did not get so shoot anything... since the light is still rare for outside shoot... limited hours, I was too late to try again for that shoot... and today... it was cold... did not feel like trying..lol...
