Well I wish it would go faster, the day of the surgery in the evening I felt better... today I am not feeling great, but I think it had to be normal. I now sleep so much better and I don't think it is only the medication, but I am getting better too. I met briefly with the surgeon before going into the OR, over there I did assist to the meeting he had with everyone in the room... then I woke up a few hours later, and recovered for a few more hours.
I did not see the surgeon after the surgery... I am sure if it would have gone the way he was expecting, he would have came to say a little something. Although he forgot to leave me with the prescriptions needed, he did left a sheet of Do's and Don't's for the next several weeks.
So far I am following to the letter every pieces of instruction, I want to get well and I will take to the time to get well.
There are a few nasty things than can occur post-surgery, so I stayed in Ottawa for a few extra days before returning home. Did not want to send back in Ottawa in case something happen.
Tomorrow, I will be going home, unless something turns worst today.
I was lucky to count on a friend, who did drive me in and out to the hospital and helped me after the surgery. She was awesome and I owe her a milion bucks.
